Sophrology is an interesting practice because it allows intervention on school phobias, shyness, enuresis (bedwetting).

Sessions can begin around age 5 or 6. This is the age when they are able to express their feelings. On average, 6 to 12 sessions are needed.

Note that for toddlers the sessions last about 15 minutes and the practice is more like a relaxation session.
